Zandvlei Trust

Arbour day – 16th June 2004

These beautiful shaggy inkcup mushrooms "greeted us" on the pathway, when off loading the approximately 80 plants purchased from the municipal nursery and some donated by the Zandvlei Nature Reserve nursery.

About 10 enthusiastic members came to help increase the garden at Westlake on a sunny warm winters day. The garden has started to flourish and take on an "established look" in the last 3 years. This is mainly due to Una Hartley and David Sinquana tending and weeding on a weekly basis.

Una needs assistance, anyone willing to help please contact her (021) 788 5854.

Many passing people remark "how good the garden looks and how it has enhanced the area".
