Zandvlei Inventory and Monitoring Programme   (ZIMP)

Steve Davis suggested sharing the ZIMP Botany groups knowledge to assist the Riverine Rovers (Friends of Slivermine) who have taken ownwership of the very successful restoration project of the Silvermine River situated in the Fish Hoek Valley. The Riverine Rovers monitor all aspects of it.

The ZIMP group have practical experience and knowledge of very similar plants to this area and have offered an ongoing working relationship to enhance the knowledge of both groups. They will help identify and possibly start a similar herbarium as the Zandvlei Trust botany project.

The Silvermine River area is managed.by the Zandvlei Nature Reserve.
