Bagworms

Bagworm (Psychidae) Male bagworms have wings and fly around in search of females. They have no mouth parts. The females live in a bag of sticks, and when mated turn around and lay the eggs in the bag and die. The larvae eat the remains and then construct a new bag of spun silk and sticks, leaves and debris.
