The local Cape Town, Boy Scout and Girl Guide Associations held the annual Kontiki raft building challenge, over the weekend. The weather was cold and misty with the wind blowing from the south east.
The teams are required to build their raft, sail it, prepare a group meal and sleep on it, over night, all in the spirit of adventure and it is designed to test many individual and team skills.

Some of the parents having fun adding support to their children, in this tradition started many years ago.
