Zandvlei Trust Rumours - Masque Theatre, Muizenberg - Tuesday 27 April 2010. |
|
RUMOURS is a very funny Neil Simon farce about politicians, psycho-analysts, social climbers, and rumour-mongerers. Directed by Sue Bolton for the Claremont Dramatic Society. The reason for the gala event. Sustaining our environment in a developing world means educating our children so that they may lead the way in future. Zandvlei Trust has for many years been facilitating the environmental education of learners. Schools on the Cape Flats and close to the Greater Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve have been enjoying a fully equiped Environmental Education Centre ably manned by Mark Arendse and his team from Environmental Resource Management Department of the City of Cape Town. Sadly owing to the current economic climate, the schools are finding it difficult to transport their children to this centre and are having to curtail these important visits to the Reserve. Zandvlei Trust decided to do something to enable these schools to continue with this kind of education.
