A dangerous cable drum with metal rods was towed out with a winch. It has been in the water for a long time and posed a hazard to canoeists and the wildlife. Well done sir,  on taking responsiblity and using your equipment to do so.

The Naval Cadets came to Bokmakierie Park and filled plenty of bags with litter
from the careless and unthinking Sun Rise Circle Weekend Market stall holders.

Large amounts of accumulated wind swept junk from the stall holders and their
patrons lands up in Grysbok and Bokmakierrie Parks which are part of the Zandvlei Nature Reserve.

Filling bags with wind blown junk.

The well organised and disciplined Naval Cadets picking up litter and
using the check sheets to describe the type of litter removed.

Large plastic cans, polystyrene sheets, paper, food and appliance packaging
you name it it was found in Bokmakierrie Park.

Ticking off the list.
