World Wetlands Week at Zandvlei – 28/01/2008 – 08/02/2008.

 

Themba the Metrorail Edutrain brought  most of the 731boys and girls from the following schools;

Lwandle Public Primary
Impendulol Primary
Soyisile Primary
Sosebenza Primary
Meadowridge Primary
Latana Primary
Zerilda Primary
Cornflower Primary
Manadalay Primary

to the Zandvlei Nature Reserve to learn about wetlands during the World Wetlands Week celebration.

Some Zandvlei Trust members assisted the staff of the Nature Reserve with Donna Dawson (an International volunteer from Liverpool) during the 2 weeks.
