Kenilworth Race Course - Nature Reserve.

On the bicycles from Plumstead to Kenilworth Race Course  - Nature Reserve. The plan was to pull the canoes along behind the bicycles but there was not enough time. The canoes were taken by vehicle from the place where the canals go under ground to Kenilworth, a distance of about 3 - 4 kms.

Devils Peak is getting closer in the background.  Looking for the elusive Micro Frogs.

At Kenilworth Race Track, on the north eastern boundary the start of the river system heading north towards Table Bay begins.
They will enter the Kromboom River canal at the Access Park Shopping Centre and follow the M5 highway to the Mowbray Golf Course, where the Black River enters the Vygieskraal River.
The source of the Kromboom River is at the Nature Reserve.
