Water Quality results.

15  Water Quality sampling positions indicated as red dots were taken enroute. The test was conducted by Dr Kevin Winter, Environmental and Geographical Science, UCT.

A 400 counts / 100 ml the health risk associated with contact recreation activities will increase from this point onwards (Recreational Water Quality Guidelines).

The target range for Ammonia Nitrogen is 0.7 mg / l.

Hypertrophic conditions likely < 2.5 mg / l  nuisance growth of aquatic plants and blooms of blue-green algae, often including species which are harmful to humans, livestock and animals (Aquatic Water Quality Guidelines).
